A2 Media Progress Diary (19/01/14-19/02/15)

Over the past month editing of the film has progressed. We have nearly finished editing the final cut of the film. The footage is completely edited, however the title sequence and sound is not. We have decided to create and film a new title sequence to add to the film as the existing one we had was not to as good a standard as the rest of the film. The majority of the film needs background music over it. We have found suitable tracks to add to the films, we just need to add these to the film. This is taking longer than expected as each track needs to be edited and tailored to fit around the footage. We have noticed a few mistakes in the film which need to be smoothed out, one of these being one of the characters dialogue being too quiet. We have decided to get a Zoom recorder and dub the sound in. Usually this would not work but the characters face is not in the shot so it does not matter if the movement of the lips and sound are out of sync as this cant be seen. Currently other blog work has been halted as we are focused on completing the final cut of the film.
