Elliptical Editing example

In our film we need to have a title sequence. The title sequence we have planned to do shows the hitman character being filmed getting dressed into his suit. In order to make this look good we will need to edit it appropriately. After doing some research I have found a clip from the film Commando that we could use as inspiration.

This clip show the character of Arnold Schwarzenegger getting ready for battle. This is a good example of what we are trying to do. The clip is a good example of elliptical editing, which is editing that allows the current event's on scree duration to be shorter, which is something that we will need to do to make our film look as professional as possible. This clip is a good marker to set our work too. This scene also has a certain rhythm to it which would be something that would be effective in our film and something that we should try to add into the title sequence of our film.
