Certificate

Due to the genre of our film we limit the age of people that can view it, for example, a younger viewer may not understand the deep storyline and twists of a thriller, plus the tension and suspense wouldn't be appropriate for that age group either. So in my opinion, our film should be classed as a certificate 15. 

I was contemplating an 18 as other films in our genre chosen genre are, but that would limit the people that could view it and also families with older children, also our film doesn't feature any such items that could class it as an 18 due to us sticking closely to the guide lines of a 15.

Maybe if we had a higher budget, then we could be able to add more 'extreme' scenes that may make it more of a controversial 15 but for your idea certificate 15 would be perfect for the genre and opening up doors for as many people to see as possible.
