Film Certificate

With the genre of our film and the elements it would include we would have to limit the age of people that can view it, for example, a younger viewer may not understand the deep storyline and not enjoy seeing the images in the film, as a result of this the certificate for our film would be a 15 in my opinion.

 Some of the films made in our chosen genre are an 18 certificate, but although this may be the normality, it would limit the audience that could view are film, which is not something we want to do as we want as many people as possible to view our film. As a result of this we made sure that our film does not include any theme that could suggest it should have an 18 certificate, to broaden our viewing audience.

Maybe if we had a higher budget, then we could be able to add more 'extreme' scenes that may make it more of a controversial 15 but for your idea certificate 15 would be perfect for the genre and opening up doors for as many people to see as possible.
